Mike Rogers
Co-Founder | Executive Producer
Mike has broad international experience working as a director and cinematographer with numerous production companies including National Geographic Television, Discovery Networks, Dog Eat Dog Films, TLC, Beach house pictures and The Smithsonian Network.
Mike works with any size production and brings a unique mix of technical expertise in filmmaking with a logistical prowess that allows Persistent Productions to handle any production in any country.
Meghan Shea
Co-Founder | Executive Producer
Meghan is an award winning documentary film director and producer. Meghan has continued to work on research and cause-based media programming and pairs that with her background in the arts. She has worked with foundations, artists, and brands to bring stories to the screen.
Most recently Meghan Directed and Produced a series for Korean Airlines with BBC Storyworks bringing intimate portraits of real Koreans to the silver screen.
David Flood
Senior Editor | Creative Director
David draws on an expansive background, developing stories that make an impact with experience in a variety of post production roles, he's crafted award-winning documentary and narrative films. Working in countries and cultures around the world, David's communication skills are honed to draw out diverse perspectives, leading to fresh and engaging stories.
David's passionate about crystallizing complex messages, and using aesthetics to reach deeper, with a sensitivity to the most subtle elements of footage. He envisions creative solutions in film that lead to the most compelling narratives.
Fernando Franco
Producer
Fer is a producer and an academic who specializes in the creative industries.
He has been involved in a wide range of projects, from co-founding a web-based e-commerce platform, starting a music and arts festival in Guatemala to working in the crowdfunding sector in London.
These experiences have given him the relevant skills to conceptualize and manage large-scale projects, all of which are necessary for independent film.
He has a B.A. in economics and two post-graduate degrees from Manchester Business School.
Fer is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Chris Kummerfeldt Quiroa
Producer | Writer | Director
Chris is a writer / director who has studied Film Production at both Casa Comal in Guatemala and Vancouver Film School in Canada.
His filmography includes award winning short films, video poetry, documentaries and four feature length films. Most recently Chris wrote and directed the narrative film Martin & Margo which is currently in distribution with Shoreline Entertainment.
His most recent documentary films include El Corazon de la Montaña and Sobre Tigres Y Quijotes.
Belonging from the generation of the Guatemalan Filmmaking Boom he has devoted his professional and entrepreneurial career to the advancement of the filmmaking community.
Chris is bilingual in Spanish and English
Rian Rogers
Deputy Office Destroyer
Small cars, tiny lego pieces, broken wooden blocks, these are the items that most interest Rian.
Even with his busy Pre-K schedule and the all too familiar pressures of snack time, Rian finds the ability to reserve plenty of energy for office shenanigans.
And while Rian's personality is only dwarfed by his 99th percentile in weight and height, he prefers an IRL connection over the digital world these days, so don't expect to meet Rian on any zoom calls you have with Persistent Productions.

Fiona took a leap of faith leaving her banking career in pursuit of her dream in photography and documentary filmmaking. She graduated from the Professional Certificate Program at Maine Media College in Rockport, Maine, US, where she concentrated in Photography, Multimedia and Alternative Processes (Gum, Platinum, Salt).
Fiona is an Emmy® Award Winner in The 38th Boston/New England Emmy® Awards as the Producer/ Editor for “The Wonderful World of Oz”, a multimedia documentary.
Liz Jensen
Director of Operations (Asia)
Liz has over 25 years international experience as a producer, director and writer in television, and for corporations and NGOs. Her passion lies in telling powerful stories in the most compelling way. She believes it’s critically important to listen to clients and promote their message through the telling of the story. Liz is an outstanding creative talent who has a unique grasp of promotion strategies and multi-media campaigns.
Most recently Liz was recognized with a PromaxBDA global gold award for the Lonely Planet promotional campaign she produced.
Finn Rogers
Professional Kindergartener | Chief Curiosity Officer
Finn takes orders from no one, choosing his 'interest of the moment' instead by what's within an arms length to keep him engaged. Finn makes guest appearances at the Persistent Productions' offices and cameos during evening conferences calls. His insights will astound and delight.
Finn is bilingual in animal sounds and numbers up to 20.
